Young Apostles FC caused the biggest upset of the weekend after beating FC Samartex 1996 1-0 at the Nsenkyire Arena.
Samuel Prempeh scored the only goal of the match in the 48th minute to deliver a remarkable victory for the Premier League new boys.
Young Apostles, who had not won a game away in their first appearance in Ghana Premier League, went close on a couple of occasions in the first half but were unlucky.
The win turned out to be the very first by Coach Robert Dabou as the interim manager and the second defeat for Samartex at Nsenkyire Sports Arena in three seasons.
The timber giants remain in 6th place with 17 points, while the visitors lie 13th in the league table.
